NPB to host its tri-annual board and committee meetings March 2–4, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia

ATLANTA, GA (February 10, 2026) — The National Peanut Board (NPB) will hold its tri-annual board and committee meetings March 2–4, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Meetings will take place at the National Peanut Board offices.

During this session, NPB board members and industry partners will convene to address key agenda items focused on strengthening the future of U.S. peanut farming families through strategic leadership development, impactful promotion, and production-driven research.

Among the major topics to be addressed are:

State Association Research Presentations & FY-26 Proposal Review: Representatives from state peanut associations will present production-focused research priorities and proposals, which will be reviewed by the Research Committee as part of the Fiscal Year 2026 funding recommendation process.

Launch of a New Board Leadership Program: Board members will participate in a newly developed Leadership Program designed to strengthen governance, leadership capacity, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Promotions, Finance, and Policy Updates: Committees will review updates and recommendations related to marketing initiatives, financial planning, and policy considerations.

NPB General Session: The Board will hear reports from NPB leadership and USDA-AMS, conduct official business, and vote on committee recommendations as necessary.
